Help us fix our front porch!
Once again we need your help! This summer we desperately need to redo our front porch. Despite multiple repairs over the last few years, it now needs to be fully replaced as it has become a safety hazard (and apparently is no longer up to code). While this seems like a fairly simple project, due to being in a historic district, it is anything but simple and cheap. This is a big project and our early estimates put it between $30,000 - $50,000, depending on the damage they find when they get in there. We know that’s a lot, but it is an important investment in CCF’s continued ministry to students. If we can keep repairs on the lower end, any additional money we raise will go towards recarpeting the downstairs (after 30+ years, it’s time) and repairing our back deck. So, we ask you, will you Floor Us once again with your generosity and help keep our Campus House a safe and welcoming home away from home for college students in Athens? We need you!
Our goal for this fundraiser is $35,000. While that’s a lot, we have good news! Thanks to the generosity of a few special supporters and our amazing Board of Directors, we have an incredible matching fund opportunity! HALF of the necessary funds for these projects have already been donated as a matching funds challenge! That’s right, we already have half of our goal met - $17,500 - IF we can raise the other half. Every dollar you give will be matched one-for-one up to $17,500! What a blessing! What a challenge! Will you help us face that challenge and raise that amount? Every gift helps, and if we can reach that large sum, we can make sure our front porch remains a welcoming, safe, entry for the thousands of students who will attend CCF over the next decades!!
