CCF Staff

Angela Denton-Rachel has been a part of CCF since time began (or at least since 1989) as first a Graduate Student, then an Intern, then as Associate Campus Minister, then as Director, then as Part-time Associate Campus Minister (she had her second baby), and finally for the last 6 years as Director of Ministry. She loves college students and Campus Ministry! A perfect day at “work” for Angela includes a staff meeting (she loves her co-workers and likes to be bossy), a few one-on-ones with students, eating chocolate, a small group Bible study, some good worship time, and some frozen yogurt with M&Ms on it. Her other loves include being a Mom to her 2 adorable children – Abby 13 and Dylan 11 – and a wife to her amazing husband, Gary. She likes exercise, sports, chocolate, outside things, people, reading and her 2 kittens, Tiger and Lightning!

Donnie Holliday has lived in Athens, GA his entire life. After completing a B.S.Ed. degree from UGA, Donnie taught middle school students math and science for nine years. In 2009 Donnie moved out of the classroom into campus ministry. He has thoroughly enjoyed the move and loves sharing life with college students. Donnie does not view campus ministry as merely a job, but as an opportunity to be faithful with who God has trusted him. He is humbled and thankful everyday that God has blessed him with the opportunity to minister to college students. Donnie and his wife, Beth, met in campus ministry at UGA. They married in 2003. Donnie and Beth welcomed their first daughter, Lexie, into the world in March 2008. In March of 2013, they welcomed their second daughter, Kerrington. The girls remind them on a daily basis that the Kingdom of God belongs to those that would receive it like little children. Donnie enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, sports, and reading.

Sam got involved at CCF as a freshmen in 2016. He graduated in 2019 with degrees in Religion and Communication. He wanted to go into ministry for several years before he started working at CCF. After interning at CCF for a year, he was invited to join the staff team! Sam has a passion for Outreach and Discipleship. He loves connecting with students on campus, and getting them involved at CCF. He also spends a lot of time reaching out to CCF's alumni and supporters through digital media. When he's not at CCF, you'll find him rock climbing, white water kayaking, playing trading card games, or reading a good book in the park.

Kristen Fowler is a graduate of the University of Georgia, with a degree in Advertisting. She served as a CCF intern and is ecstatic about her position as Minister of Office Management and Community. Kristen would like to laughingly remind everyone that marriage is *not* a staff requirement. Kristen is grateful to work in a place that encourages Recreational Ministry--that is, sharing her love of crocheting and Korean Dramas with students (and letting them teach her how to longboard!) Brian is beyond excited to work at CCF after loving every minute of his students years there. Brian grew up in Athens and was born about 2 miles from CCF, so he hasn't ventured too far! He graduated from UGA in 2015 with a degree in Journalism and Publication Management. He then interned at CCF for the following school year and loved every minute of it! Athens is home for Brian and his wife, Sarah, who teaches math at North Oconee High School, the school Brian graduated from! They got married in December of 2016 and love serving together at CCF. While not working at CCF, Brian plays drums for an Athens worship band, newRealm, which started at CCF in 2014. They have played all over Athens and around the Atlanta area. He loves spending time at local coffee shops!
